EcoSwitch Plus 10A EU

Description

The EcoSwitch Plus EU is a switch you can plug into the wall outlet. Plug the cable of your electrical device into the switch.

The EcoSwitch Plus EU fetches energy prices via WiFi from the internet and switches on when the price is the lowest. In the web interface you can create a schedule, which determines during which hours (and for how long) the EcoSwitch is allowed to be switched on. The EcoSwitch will then calculate a plan that suits your needs.

The packages includes:
• EcoSwitch Plus EU switch
• EcoSwitch application to calculate the plan
• Five years of service worth €30,-, consisting of:
1. Energy prices via internet (currently only prices for the Netherlands)
2. Updates to the EcoSwitch application (firmware)

There are 24 energy prices available per day. Using the application, you can configure the EcoSwitch according to your needs.

You can use the EcoSwitch for, among others:
• Close-in boilers
• Waterbeds
• Swimming pools

The EcoSwitch is NOT suitable for connecting an adapter of the type laptop or electric bicycle. This may cause the EcoSwitch to malfunction.

Why is the EcoSwitch Plus useful?
Even without reducing your energy consumption, you can reduce the emission of greenhouse gas by choosing the best moment to use electrical power. This is beneficial to the climate. On some hours of the day there is more power available from sustainable energy sources, for example solar panels and wind turbines. This results in less CO₂ emissions per kilowatt hour. If you use power during those hours, the environment will be taxed less.
